Three Great Lakes Bay Region businesses —Vantage Plastics of Standish, Kremin Inc. and SpeedConnect both of Saginaw Township — recently were named to Michigan 50 Companies to Watch.

While the companies are varied in what they do, they share the distinction of standing out in a recovering economy.

These companies were part of a statewide list that celebrates second-stage companies that make an impact in their markets, in their communities and in the state, but there are lots of businesses in the Great Lakes Bay Region that are worth noting, too.
