Kremin Inc is looking for a utility person to receive in Material and purchased Goods, move materials to appropriate location within the facility, and deliver/pick-up products utilizing the company vehicle.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
The Utility person will be expected to perform some or all of the duties, tasks, and responsibilities shown below
- Count, weigh or measure items of incoming shipments in order to verify information against invoices, orders , bills of lading or other records
- Examine and unpack incoming shipments; record shortages and reject damaged items Route items to various departments
- Examine incoming shipments to ensure they meet specifications
- Operate lift truck or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage area
- Verify receipts and log them according to required procedures Investigate and resolve situations where items received are not properly documented
- Ensure that all documents and material received in the warehouse are of satisfactory quality
- Safely utilize forklifts and power jacks to move warehouse materials according to proper safety instructions and as directed
- Utilize the company vehicle to deliver products to vendors and customers
- Prepare material for un-attended machine operations
- Deburr parts and prepare parts for shipment
Requirements include:
▪ High School Diploma or equivalent
▪ Ability to communicate effectively as mandated by job functions
▪ Ability to load or unload materials and parts from machines
▪ Ability to actively listen to and carry out work instructions
▪ Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively share information in a timely fashion
▪ Lifting up to 50lbs may be required
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
▪ Read and interpret blue prints, work instructions and other engineering information to determine the machining process and sequence of operations
▪ Measure dimensions and tolerances using hand measuring tools
▪ Machine parts to specifications on a CNC Chucker lathe
▪ Setup and adjust holding fixtures, machine tools and work material in accordance to work instructions with assistance
▪ Check and maintain machine cutting tools for adequacy in operation
▪ Calculate and monitor speed and feeds of the machine with assistance
▪ Conduct proper inspection of first-run and in-process parts
▪ Accurate record keeping- log information on scraped parts and complete production routers accordingly
▪ Setup and adjust holding fixtures, machine tools and work material in accordance to work instructions
▪ Calculate and monitor speed and feeds of the machine
▪ Maintain a safe and clean working environment
▪ Ensure the quality of machined parts
Requirements include:
▪ High School Diploma or equivalent
▪ Ability to machine parts to specifications on a CNC Chucker Lathe – Okuma OSP or FANUC controls experience preferred
▪ Knowledge of machine tools and design
▪ Read and understand basic G and M codes
▪ Ability to communicate effectively as mandated by job functions
▪ Ability to load or unload materials and parts from machines
▪ Ability to read and interpret blue prints
▪ Experience using hand held measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges
▪ Ability to perform in-process inspection
▪ Ability to actively listen to and carry out work instructions
▪ Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively share information in a timely fashion
▪ Ability to think critically- use logic, critical thinking and deductive reasoning to solve problems
▪ Proficient in algebra and trigonometry
▪ Lifting up to 50lbs may be required
Prepares pre-engineering paperwork and inspection documents reviewing customer requirements and management of these documents throughout the product realization process and manages company AP process.
Responsibilities:
- Work with teammates to initiate process improvements and assist in documenting change requirements.
- Handle the overflow communications that include Customer Service General Email Box and Overflow Call Volume.
- Assist with documenting customer complaints according to the company processes for quality and returned material authorization.
- Attend team meetings as required.
- Prepare and review Inspection documents.
- Attend pre-engineering reviews with Department Managers and customers
- Create/ Manage/ and Document Inspection records in UniPoint.
- In congruence with Engineering and Quality update and revise customer requirements ensuring all information is relayed to relevant departments.
- Review shipment requirements and documents for accuracy and completeness.
