Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

▪     Read and interpret blue prints, work instructions and other engineering information to determine the machining    process and sequence of operations

▪     Measure dimensions and tolerances using hand measuring tools

▪     Machine parts to specifications on a CNC Chucker lathe

▪     Setup and adjust holding fixtures, machine tools and work material in accordance to work instructions with assistance

▪     Check and maintain machine cutting tools for adequacy in operation

▪     Calculate and monitor speed and feeds of the machine with assistance

▪     Conduct proper inspection of first-run and in-process parts

▪     Accurate record keeping- log information on scraped parts and complete production routers accordingly

▪     Setup and adjust holding fixtures, machine tools and work material in accordance to work instructions

▪     Calculate and monitor speed and feeds of the machine

▪     Maintain a safe and clean working environment

▪     Ensure the quality of machined parts

 

Requirements include:

▪     High School Diploma or equivalent

▪     Ability to machine parts to specifications on a  CNC Chucker Lathe – Okuma OSP or FANUC controls experience preferred

▪     Knowledge of machine tools and design

▪     Read and understand basic G and M codes

▪     Ability to communicate effectively as mandated by job functions

▪     Ability to load or unload materials and parts from machines

▪     Ability to read and interpret blue prints

▪     Experience using hand held measuring equipment such as micrometers, calipers and bore gauges

▪     Ability to perform in-process inspection

▪     Ability to actively listen to and carry out work instructions

▪     Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and effectively share information in a timely fashion

▪     Ability to think critically- use logic, critical thinking and deductive reasoning to solve problems

▪     Proficient in algebra and trigonometry

▪     Lifting up to 50lbs may be required

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Create CNC programs using Mastercam, Program creation includes, and is not limited to, tool path simulation, time studies, posting of program, tool setup instruction, and tool library updates as new tools are introduced to our Manufacturing Center, etc.
  • Use skills in Print Reading, GD&T, Tool Selection, Speeds & Feeds, jigging, and fixturing to create part manufacturing setups.
  • Evaluate existing CNC programs, fixtures, tooling, and machining processes periodically. Identify and implement process improvements to optimize quality, productivity, and cost
  • Maintain expert knowledge of machining industry best practices. Implement best practices when applicable
  • Perform training related to CNC programming, process development, and machine operation
  • Collaborate with development engineers, suppliers and engineers.
  • Work alongside our Engineering team to ensure finish parts meet quality and functionality criteria as expected.
  • Work alongside CNC programmers to generate programs to be ran in our manufacturing center.
  • Work alongside Machine Operators to ensure finished parts meet quality and functionality criteria as expected.
  • 10+ years of recent experience in programming & setup of 3 to 5 axis CNC milling and turning equipment.
  • 5 years of experience in developing manufacturing and production processes for machined components
  • Knowledgeable in work holding, fixturing and cutting tool selection and specification
  • Excited and energized to implement new technologies and techniques to continuously improve timing and quality of parts being manufactured.
  • Experience with MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Great team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Thrives in a high-pressure environment with significant autonomy and freedom.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Engineering or Technical education of CNC programming & machining
  • ISO/Quality system experience a plus.
  • Experience with Okuma, Haas, Citizens Machines is a plus

Kremin Inc is looking for a qualified individual that has experience in manufacturing, within a machine shop environment, to fill a position in our estimating department. We are a leading Medical, Industrial, Aerospace and Defense company, build to print manufacturer of complex parts.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ability to analyze a wide variety of aerospace, defense, commercial drawings, engineering models, and product standards to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimate.

• Consult with clients, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers to discuss, formulate, estimate and resolve pricing issues.

• Support sales in negotiations.

• Develop and maintain cost standards.

• Lead post job cost summary reviews for pricing and performance variances.

• Support and lead continuous improvement initiatives for tooling, processes, and lead times.

Requirements include:

• Preferred knowledge of JobBoss ERP systems.

• Familiarity with Manufacturing processes including machining and special processes.

• Knowledge of Aerospace specifications.

• Experience with Tooling and fixturing in the development of costs.

• Minimum of 6 years estimating experience.

• Must work well under pressure and complete assignments to established end dates.

• Must have excellent organizational, verbal and written skills.

• High attention to detail.

Prepares pre-engineering paperwork and inspection documents reviewing customer requirements and management of these documents throughout the product realization process and manages company AP process.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with teammates to initiate process improvements and assist in documenting change requirements.
  • Handle the overflow communications that include Customer Service General Email Box and Overflow Call Volume.
  • Assist with documenting customer complaints according to the company processes for quality and returned material authorization.
  • Attend team meetings as required.
  • Prepare and review Inspection documents.
  • Attend pre-engineering reviews with Department Managers and customers
  • Create/ Manage/ and Document Inspection records in UniPoint.
  • In congruence with Engineering and Quality update and revise customer requirements ensuring all information is relayed to relevant departments.
  • Review shipment requirements and documents for accuracy and completeness.
